This custom designed storm 700sqft storm shelter shelter was created with churches and congregations in mind. This design includes all of the usual features a typical community shelter would have with some custom features geared to making this a perfect solution for a church. Among the custom features of this floor plan is a small worship/sanctuary area with enough seating for approximately 28 people. It also boasts a full size restroom with a composting toilet, full shower, stainless sink and a tankless water heater.  The shelter includes a kitchen with double counters, a stainless sink and an alcohol burning cook-top stove. All of this is surrounded with deep shelving for ample storage. 

  Attached to the side of this shelter are two 10’x10′ rooms.  The generator room is custom insulated to cancel sound (in case the generator has to be running) as well as custom ventilated to remove excess heat from the room.   The other room is a small 10’x10′ bunk room with wrapping benches.

This shelter is divided between a 500sqft sanctuary and 700sqft of “dwelling space”. The worship/sanctuary area has enough bench seating for approximately 28 people. This sanctuary shelter also offers an area for baptismal services located behind the pulpit.  This baptismal area also has a small changing room built into it. 

This shelter  boasts 2 full size restrooms with composting toilets, full shower, stainless sink and a tankless water heaters.  

The dwelling space includes a full restroom, a kids playroom, a small lounging area with a jack-knife sofa that pulls out for extra sleeping, a bunk room that has 2 bunks and a generator room that is custom insulated to cancel sound (in case the generator has to be running) as well as custom ventilated to remove excess heat from the room.

Attached to the side of this “dwelling” shelter are two 10’x10′ rooms.  One room is a kitchen area complete with stainless sinks and an alcohol burning cook-top surrounded by shelving.  The other room is 10’x10′ a storage room boasting deep shelving from floor to ceiling for added storage.
