WHY  IS  STEEL  BETTER  THAN  THE  REST?

Concrete and Steel has been used for 150+ years to build Freeways, Cities, Skyscrapers and other permanent infrastructure. While Steel and Concrete is not a new technology, it is the proven one. Couple the proven strength of steel and concrete with 21st century technologies and you have a recipe for a super tornado shelter.

Steel acclimates to the temperature of the ground by expanding and contracting slightly. The flexible nature of steel makes it the perfect material to build underground structures with. Our all steel storm shelters are coated with an industrial strength rubberized coating that stops corrosion, so there is no worrying about typical issues like corrosion, cracks, mold, moisture or collapses due to exposure to the weather and earth. Our all steel shelters are built to las and we guarantee you shelter will last for generations. These shelters sit below the earth’s surface and are the SAFEST option in a tornado or extreme weather.

STEEL  SHELTERS  CAN  BE  EASILY  UPGRADED

Our shelters are easily modified to suit the needs of anyone.  The handicapped and elderly no longer need to worry about finding accessible safety in the face of the storm. Since the hope is to only need to use the storm shelter in rare occasions; our standard storm shelters are pretty basic.  Including low voltage LED lighting, ventilation for fresh air and bench seating to make the shelter a very comfortable place to ride out a storm. However he sky is the limit because we build every inch!  Custom steel community shelters are completely upgraded to have a centralized electronic locking systems (for scenarios where there are multiple shelters located apart from one another), handicap accessibility, restrooms and more.  We’ve listed some of the features we commonly upgrade below but if there is something specific that you’d like and you don’t see it listed; don’t hesitate to ask.  We pride ourselves on making the best shelters in the world and we have yet to encounter a request that we couldn’t accomplish.

The units pictured below are common storm shelters available in every size (ranging from 4×8 to 10×50). Our standard residential tornado shelter includes staircases, bench seating and ventilation. As you can see from the photos below, with our steel shelters, there is also no unsightly 3 foot hill in your yard!
